Executive Summary
Network segmentation, authentication, secure updates and intrusion monitoring — a layered security posture from edge device to fleet platform.
Layers
Network segmentation isolates environmental/safety networks from other train systems. Secure, authenticated communications connect edge devices, CORE-ERMC and the depot/fleet platform. Role-based access, signed software updates, event logging and intrusion monitoring complete the layered posture.

Edge And Fleet Security
Hardened edge-controller configuration and physical access control protect field devices; a consistent security posture is managed centrally across the fleet rather than per-coach.
This publication describes conceptual frameworks and proposed architectures. Where quantitative figures appear, they are engineering projections intended for planning and are subject to experimental validation.
No Certification Claim
TransO2 is not certified to any cybersecurity standard unless expressly stated. This description is an engineering design principle, not a compliance certificate.
